WHICH COMIC BOOKS ARE HOT RIGHT NOW?

The first full appearance of Ms Marvel, Kamala Khan. This issue predates Ms Marvel 1 by a month. The print run of this book is about 32,000 for the first print, which is relatively low for the first appearance of a major Marvel character

This book has climbed quite a bit. It was in most $5 bins for many years and when people realized that it was the 1st full appearance of Ms Marvel (who is now slated for her own TV show and will co-star in the next Captain Marvel movie). The book is now hovering in the $200-300 range.

This is a great comic to own. The print run is not massive (it is technically lower than NYX 3, which many consider having a low print run).​

ALL-NEW MARVEL POINT ONE 1

MARVEL COMICS PRESENTS 72

The first appearance of Weapon X and the first part of Wolverine's origin. This book was very underpriced for many years. It sat in most dollar bins for a long time, until very recently. 

This book hasn't climbed like All-New Marvel Point One 1, but it has made some good gains, due to the popularity of Wolverine and the X-Men (and the prospects of the characters entering the MCU).
 
The book is currently sitting at around $50-60 dollars ungraded but looks to be stable for now. It is hard to tell if this book is a good buy at the moment or if it just in speculation territory.​

YEAR OF THE VILLAIN HELL ARISEN 3

The first full appearance of Punchline. Batman 89 has a cameo appearance from Punchline, but it is only part of her face, so this book is the one to watch out for. 

Punchline is a great new character that will become popular over the long term, so this is a great book if you're a fan of hers. While this comic is new, it is still climbing at a considerable rate.
 
This is currently selling for around $100-125 dollars ungraded but looks stable in its price for now. The variant cover is selling for less than half of the regular cover at about $30-50.​

Written by Skottie Young, this features the first appearances of many new characters. The comic has been out for only a year and has already been showing a good amount of movement.

The book features a higher print run as well as many variants. There are a few comics that have a preview to this issue 1 month prior (Daredevil, Thor, etc). However, the book seems to keep climbing.
 
This is currently selling for around $75 dollars ungraded for the regular cover. There are many variants for this comic, which makes it difficult to pick which book, in particular, is the best to buy.​

STRANGE ACADEMY 1

This comic falls under the same category as Strange Academy 1 as it features the first appearances of a few characters. Among those characters are Luna, Wave, Aero, and more. 

The book does not have many variants, making it a little less complicated than Strange Academy 1. There is speculation that some of the characters from this book will appear in the upcoming Shang Chi movie for the MCU.
 
This is currently selling for around $50 dollars ungraded and seems to be slowly climbing. Only time will tell if this book will be important or if the characters go by the wayside. It seems, however, that the characters are here to stay.​
